During the 45 minute-event, we would like to give you an overview of the global and US real estate market, look at the evolution of luxury residential real estate and shed light on trends in architecture and design values.
We have partnered with “Montalba Architects”, an award-winning, international architecture firm with studios in Los Angeles and Lausanne. Montalba Architects produces select architecture and urban design-related projects ranging in scope and context, from the rural landscapes in Wyoming and Switzerland to the dense, urban surroundings of New York and Los Angeles. With projects that emphasize experiences, Montalba Architects creates new forms of expression through space and scale that are both socially responsive and aesthetically progressive.
Speakers
David Montalba, Founding Principal of Montalba Architects, is the driving force of leadership and design within the firm. Montalba Architects is a diverse architecture and design studio of over 60 designers based in Santa Monica, California with a satellite office in Lausanne, Switzerland. The firm is engaged in retail, residential and other select commercial projects across the US and abroad. Believing that architecture and ones environment can truly improve quality of life, David’s approach is a humanistic one, which often leads to solutions that are discrete, contextual, yet conceptual in their intent, effect, and appeal. David’s diverse background as an architect includes over 26 years of professional practice, and this work has been recognized in various publications and with numerous awards, including the AIA’s National Young Architect Award in 2008, a 2019 AIA Institute Honor Award and over 100 other design awards.
Markus Bruhin, CIIA

Markus Bruhin, Head Investment Management & Deputy CIO, has been with Vontobel Swiss Wealth Advisors since 2013 and has over 40 years of experience in the financial industry. Prior to Vontobel, Markus Bruhin was a Senior Portfolio Manager and Chief Investment Strategist at Credit Suisse Private Advisors AG. Earlier, Markus worked for the alternative investment manager Horizon21, HPM Portfolio Management and was Institutional Sales trader at Swiss American Securities in New York. Markus is a Certified International Investment Analyst CIIA and holds a Financial Analyst and Portfolio Manager AZEK diploma. Earlier he attended the Business School Zurich and received the diploma as a Swiss-certified banking specialist.
